Frequently Asked Questions

Will my data be uploaded to any server?

No. All your RSS feeds, AI chat history, tasks and drafts are encrypted and stored locally on your device only. The developer cannot access, read or modify any of your data remotely.

How do I back up my RSS subscriptions?

You can export your subscription list via OPML in the app settings. The exported file will be saved locally on your device, and you can import it back anytime for migration or backup purposes.

Why is the AI feature not working?

Please verify your API endpoint and API key are correctly configured, and make sure your AI service account has sufficient balance and network accessibility. Swiftfeed does not provide built-in AI services; all AI capabilities rely on the third-party API you configure yourself.

How to erase all my local data?

You can tap "Clear All Records" in the app settings to wipe all local data with one tap. Uninstalling the app will also permanently delete all data stored on your device, with no residual copies on any server.

Does the app support offline reading?

Yes. Once articles are fetched, they are stored locally on your device and can be read without an internet connection. AI and publishing features require network access to work properly.
